Bo, Bo, Bo, bo, Bo...
vincent Edward "Bo" Jackson was born on November 30th, 1962 in Bessemer, Alabama. Bo was one of ten siblings and his mom was a single parent. Up until Bo was in 1st grade, they lived in a three room house that might not have even been 700 square-feet. He then moved to a larger house in 1st grade and he felt as if it were a mansion compared to his old house. He went to High School at McAdory High School in small town Bessemer, Alabama. Bo excelled in many sports as in Baseball, Football, and Track & Field. In Track & Field, Bo broke state records for the Triple Jump and High Jump. Bo played professionally in two of these sports, Baseball and Football. He went to college at the University of Auburn where he played Baseball and Football. Going pro in the MLB first in 1986, Bo played for the Kansas City Royals (in which he was predominant), the Chicago White Socks, and the LA Angels (now called the Aneheim Angles). During his NFL football career, which started in 1987, he played for one team, the LA Raiders (now called the Oakland Raiders). Even though it was a great accomplishment to play professionally in two different sports, he just made that feeling better by being an all-star in both of them.
